Year: 1930
Designer: Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand e Pierre Jeanneret
Materials: shiny tubular chrome-plated steel structure; matte black steel base, foam seat upholstered in black leather or pony hide, black leather headrest.
In his “rest machine” as he liked to call it, Le Corbusier eliminated the armrests and modified the structure of the base that supports the frame. This lounging chair moves without any mechanism and stays in the desired position thanks only to the weight of the person using it.
