Working with his assistants, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret in 1928, Le Corbusier designed this series of “Grand Comfort” chairs in two different styles with different purposes. The first, and narrower one, entitled “le Petit Modèle” was designed for men, while the other, wider chair, “le Grand Modèle” was created for women.
